    About Rueff Frazao

    Born in Rio de Janeiro and raised in Newark, NJ, Rueff Frazao learned to play string bass which opened up the gateway to learn bass guitar, guitar, cello violin, viola, drums, voice, dance, acting and conducting. Rueff Lopez Frazao was the Middle School and High School Orchestra & Symphony Orchestra Director at Osceola County School for the Arts in Kissimmee, FL since 2016. Mr. Frazao performed with Disney’s Encore Performing Arts Orchestra, Tampa Bay Symphony Orchestra and across the United States and Europe. Mr. Frazao was a tenor in operatic and theatrical productions at the St. Petersburg Opera under Maestro Mark Sforzini and under Dr. Julie Yu with the Canterbury Voices in Oklahoma City.

    Rueff Frazao recently served as the assistant conductor to the Oklahoma City University Symphony Orchestra, the Oklahoma Youth Orchestra, and as an apprentice conductor with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic. Rueff Frazao was the Professor of Strings and Assistant Conductor at Rose State College. Rueff received his Bachelor’s in Music Education in 2013 from University of Central Florida and his Master of Music in Orchestra Conducting at Oklahoma City University in 2024 under the tutelage of Maestro Jeffery Grogan.

    Rueff Frazao’s ensembles have performed at the Viennese Masters Invitation at Carnegie Hall, Celebration Foundation Concert Series with Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, and with featured artists like conductor Eric Jacobsen, Violectric, composer Louis Clark of Electric Light Orchestra, hip-hop duet Black Violin, cellist Yo-Yo Ma, violinist Colin Jacobsen, and with fiddler Gary Lovini “King of Strings.” Rueff Frazao has served with Florida Music Education Association’s Emerging Leaders, and as the President of the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra’s Accent group and presented at state and district conferences and clinics.

    Rueff's teaching style is rooted in making music education available to everyone, exposing students to a diverse palette of perspectives, and developing an individual's artistry. He believes everyone deserves a great music teacher that can make music accessible.
