About Rich McBain

Richard McBain has been studying, performing, and teaching classical piano for 25+ years.

Richard studied at the Booker T. Washington School for the Performing and Visual Arts and honed his craft under the tutelage of Dr. David A. Karp at Southern Methodist University.

Richard attended the Cleveland Institute of Music where studied under Paul Schenly and Sergei Babayan.

Richard has appeared as a recitalist, concerto soloist, and collaboratively as a chamber musician and accompanist. His teaching prowess ranges from novice to competition level musicians of all ages.
