Phoebe Haun is a vibrant freelance violist, violinist, and pianist whose passion is sharing classical music with the world. She specializes in performing solo viola, string quartet, and orchestra, bringing a rich and energetic sound to the spaces she performs.
Phoebe has performed with the Plano, Irving, and San Angelo Symphony Orchestras, as well as Wichita Falls and Monroe Symphony Orchestras, Texas Christian University Symphony, the University of North Texas Baroque Orchestra, and UNT Symphony Orchestra. She is certified in teaching Suzuki Book 1, and has taught viola, violin, and piano lessons. She also freelances frequently in the DFW area.
Phoebe graduated in May 2022 with a degree in Viola Performance from the University of North Texas, and is currently pursuing a master's degree at Texas Christian University. She has studied with Dr. Mikhail Galaganov at TCU, Dr. Susan Dubois and Dr. Daphne Gerling at UNT, and has learned under the batons of Dr. David Itkin, Dr. Clay Couturiaux, and Dr. German Gutierrez.
Based in Fort Worth, TX, Phoebe enjoys rock climbing, making lattes, and creative writing. In the future, she sees herself traveling the world and teaching, performing, and meeting new people.
