Noble Monyei, widely known as Mr. Noble, holds a degree in Theater Arts with a minor in Jazz Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz. While his love for music began at an early age, he did not formally learn an instrument until the age of 18, when he started playing guitar. His passion for music led him to study it further in college, eventually performing in local bands and leading his own group, "Dearly Departed." Currently, he shares his talents and insights on his YouTube channel, Music with Mr. Noble.
With a background in theater arts, Noble has honed his skills in acting and performance, blending storytelling, music performance, and video production into his creative endeavors. His teaching career began in his teenage years, working with children in afterschool programs. Over the years, he has taught chess, soccer, and worked as a preschool staff member and teacher’s assistant. This diverse experience has helped him develop a deep connection with early learners and their families.
In 2018, Noble founded Music Movement and Arts, a mobile program offering group music lessons in preschools. With over 20 years of experience in music education, he specializes in individual lessons tailored to each student’s unique musical goals. He offers instruction in piano, ukulele, electric bass, classical guitar, and electric guitar, covering a range of styles including folk, classical, rock, jazz, blues, and pop.
Noble’s teaching emphasizes building song repertoire, ear training, and technique development. He is particularly passionate about working with early learners, creating engaging and fun lessons that foster a lifelong love of music. Whether students aspire to master classical pieces or jam to rock classics, Noble is dedicated to helping them achieve their musical dreams.
