Nicholas Johnson is a current student at The University of Colorado at Boulder, pursuing a dual degree in music education and Cello performance. His experiences in music include playing in organizations such as the Colorado Honor Band Association on Clarinet, and Denver Young Artists Orchestra on Cello. He has also performed in the Littleton High School "Lion Pride" Marching band, his junior year as a clarinet section leader, and his senior year as a drum major.
Today, he teaches at both the middle school and high school level, working with the Arvada West High School Marching Band, as a woodwind technician, as well as with the Middle School Ensemble Program through the CU College Of Music, both as a conductor and sectional coach.
In his free time, Mr. Johnson loves to hike and camp, and enjoys reading any genre of book from history, to sci-fi novels.
