About Natalia Nabokova

Natalia Nabokova holds a BM degree in Piano Performance and MM in Piano Pedagogy from Denver University, Lamont School of Music. She is originally from Moscow, Russia and she has devoted herself to playing piano since she was 7 years old. She has studied with amazing teachers in Russia and the United States and proudly carries on traditions of Russian Piano School.

Natalia has chosen to be in the field of music teaching because she believes that making music and learning about it makes us more human. She believes that music is the language of the soul and when a child gets exposed to the magic of music he/she can’t stay indifferent. As a teacher, her goal is to develop well-rounded musicians who continue to nurture their musical passion throughout their life.

Natalia teaches private lessons to beginner, intermediate and advance students children and adults. She considers herself a professional piano teacher because she has knowledge, teaching experience, and always strives to improve and learn. She maintains professional knowledge by attending MTNA conferences, master classes, piano festivals, and professional meetings of local music teachers’ organizations. Natalia enjoys maintaining her performance skills by doing performance outreaches at retirement centers.
