Nancy Finney is a pianist, singer/songwriter, and musician based in Denver/Littleton, Colorado. She has been trained by musicians and professors at the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, and Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. Finney performs songs in Denver with her bandmates and has taught piano lessons for nearly 20 years. She emphasizes creativity, love of music, and balances that with practical methods and pedagogy. Finney also has experience in teaching at-risk youth, students with special needs – such as autism and ADHD, and adult learners.
Lessons with Nancy will include games, creative exercises, and many "create your own song" activities. When Nancy isn't teaching, she enjoys biking, hiking, and playing tug-of-war with her dog.
