About Marcel Sabourin

Marcel Sabourin is a musician, producer, and songwriter with a background in live performance, electronic music, guitar, piano, and drums. He started learning music at 8 years old. He has spent years developing his skills through performing, writing, recording, and producing original music, and currently releases music under the name SUBAUX. He is also studying Electrical Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington, where his interest in technology often overlaps with his work in synthesis, recording, and sound design.

As a teacher, Marcel has worked with students as young as 4 years old to adults, and wants his students to enjoy music while building a strong understanding of how it works. His lessons focus on helping students develop confidence, creativity, and their own musical voice rather than simply memorizing songs. Outside of teaching, he continues to write, produce, perform, and explore new approaches to music and sound.
