    About Mally LaPete

Malbea, aka "Mally" LaPete has been playing piano and singing since her mother and grandmother taught her as a young child. Hailing from a large family where everyone was musically inclined, Mally also participated in the concert band and sang in the choir. Thanks to her father, Mally developed a taste for classical and jazz music which heavily influences her playing style.

Mally is an active pianist and vocalist. She plays and teaches in a variety of styles and embraces music as something someone does their whole life. She fosters this belief through positive teaching methods she shares with her students. She began actively teaching piano in 2016.

Theatrics come naturally to Mally, whose mother, Malbea Rohrer, had her own TV show at Atlanta Interfaith Broadcasting for six years, “Better, Better, and Better,” where Mally would help write scripts and manage props. Years of attending her mother’s Toastmaster meetings encouraged Mally to embrace public speaking and project natural confidence, which influence her positive teaching methods and upbeat approach to her students.

In addition to her professional work, she enjoys playing pickleball, crafting, and volunteering as a reader for Georgia Radio Reading Service. She' also proud to have orchestrated the donations of pianos to families who are without one.
