    About Luke Hoffman

Luke Hoffman is a lifelong musician from Dallas, TX living in Seattle, WA. Primarily a guitar and piano teacher, Luke earned his degree in Commercial Music Performance from Cedar Valley College before becoming a staple in the Dallas music scene. He has been teaching guitar to students of all ages and skill levels since 2012, and he prides himself on the success of his students, including Atlantic Records recording artist, Gayle.

Developing a taste for being on stage at a young age, Luke picked up guitar in 2003 at the age of 14 and never looked back. His musical journey has taken him all across the country, writing, recording, performing, and teaching. He is fluent in many genres including Rock, Blues, Folk, Country, and Indie, and is an obsessive scholar of Music History. He has played in many musical groups over the years including the blues-rock band Boogie Chillin, and the psychedelic group Altered States, and has also had a successful stint as a solo Singer-Songwriter. With a combined total of two albums and four EPs released over his musical career, the only thing Luke loves more than making music is imparting it to the next generation of musicians.

Professionally, Luke is an Accountant by day, and he imbues his musical teaching with competence, respect, and a side of fun. He understands that lessons are more than just a means to learn, but a way to connect with students and make a positive impact on their lives. Growing up, Luke gained a great deal of knowledge and expertise from older musicians who were willing to teach him the ropes, and his goal is to do the same for his students.

Aside from music, Luke enjoys hiking the PNW, cooking, and nerding out over comics, movies, and video games.
