Kaela Barlow is a skilled vocal artist and dedicated music educator based in Atlanta, with a lifelong passion for the performing arts. Raised in a musically enriched environment by her mother, a musician and educator, Kaela developed a deep connection to music from an early age and quickly discovered her calling in the arts.
Kaela holds a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Technique and Performance from Georgia State University, where she received extensive training in voice, choir, opera, dance, and stage performance. As a member of the GSU University Singers, she had the opportunity to tour internationally and perform at the 2017 International Chamber Choir Competition in Marktoberdorf, Germany, where the ensemble earned first place.
A committed lifelong learner, Kaela continues to advance her vocal expertise. She studied vocal jazz privately with renowned jazz vocalist Lisa Green at Spelman College and has performed in operas, led vocals for the Atlanta-based band “Oatmeal,” and works independently as a studio recording artist.
Kaela's teaching approach is individualized and student-centered, creating a supportive and nurturing environment that empowers singers to develop both their vocal skills and confidence. She is dedicated to helping each student build a solid, healthy vocal foundation, overcome challenges, and express themselves fully through music.
With a deep belief in the integration of solid vocal technique and personal development, Kaela aims to nurture not only confident performers but well-rounded individuals. Passionate about guiding new singers, she combines her love for vocal technique with a commitment to personal growth and artistic expression, ensuring that every student reaches their full potential.
