About Jessica Johnston

Jessica Brunson is an established teacher of voice and piano in the Dallas, TX area. She studied music at Ouachita Baptist University under Dr. John Secrest as a Vocal Performance Major. Classical and Opera are the genres that she credits for establishing a foundation in technique, gaining versatility with other genres. She's had lead roles in Old Maid and the Thief and Speed Dating Tonight. Through her experience with various choirs, she has performed solos in New York and Hawaii. As a OBU travel choir member, she performed in the Sistine Chapel in Italy.

From the very first time she taught music students, Jessica fell in love with teaching. She realized it's her calling. As a private music teacher in Dallas, she understands that music has many values in a student's life and works hard to bring love and passion for music to each of her students. She believes music is a powerful medium for expression and has a profound impact on young students and adults.
