    About Jerime Harris

    Jerime Harris Is a talented performer teacher of piano, percussion, and guitar. He attended high school in McAlester, Oklahoma where he was an All-State orchestra member. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Music and business with emphasis in percussion and piano and a Master's in Business Administration. He studied percussion with Dr. Marc White and piano with Dr. Mary Ann Craige.

    From 2002-2006, Mr. Harris was a teacher of music at Coppell ISD, teaching under the late and great Scott Mason. Mr. Harris also plays professionally, and has performed with groups including the Metropolitan Winds, Lone Star Wind Orchestra, several churches, and in the jazz combo, Exit 42. He has also coordinated many judging panels, has been a clinician for several region bands, and also coordinates membership and performances for the lone star youth wind ensemble.

    Jerime currently has a large studio of private students primarily at Frisco ISD. He also contracts and assists for several school districts, including Lewisville, Little Elm, Carrollton-Farmers Branch, and many others. He is also currently a composer and arranger for MRNS Music, writes and records secular and church music and is director of music and arts at New Covenant Dallas.

    In his spare time he loves hanging with his friends and family, enjoying outdoor activities with his pets and enjoying travel and unique adventures.
