Jeremy has been a professional Las Vegas and Broadway style show band musician performing aboard luxury cruise ships in over thirty countries for more than fifteen years. As bassist and music director aboard numerous cruise lines Jeremy has performed with dozens of Broadway and Vegas entertainers including Natalie Weiss, Carla Stickler, and the one and only Wayne Newton. Now residing in Orlando, Jeremy teaches students of all ages how to tap into their potential so they can be a part of the magical and limitless world of music.
He began his formal education at Philadelphia's University of the Arts studying under world-renowned bassist Gerald Veasley, and then went on to study under jazz and world music icon John Patitucci at the Bass Collective in New York City.
Jeremy believes that real world experience and continued learning are central to the development of musical skill. Most of his musical knowledge came not from the classroom, but from being on stage thousands of times with musicians who themselves have often toured the world performing at the highest levels. Live theater can be unpredictable. But if you do it long enough, you will learn how to perform in less than ideal conditions while under pressure. This makes Jeremy adept at giving young students the tools to help them prepare to perform in their school play, jazz band, or solo performance for the local talent show. Jeremy chose his teachers not only for their vast experience but for the fact that as accomplished as they were, they themselves took lessons from older and more experienced musicians. This is why Jeremy instills in his students the value of continuing education balanced with real world experience.
