About Jeremy Crawford

Jeremy Crawford is a Pianist, Cellist, and Singer based in the DMV. He works with private Piano students of all ages and levels in addition to his active performing career in Musical Theater.

Jeremy began studying Piano at age 4 under the supervision of his mom before going on to private lessons at age 6. At 7 years old, Jeremy began playing Cello and went on to participate in his high school's Symphony Orchestra and the Chesapeake Youth Symphony Orchestra.

In college, Jeremy was part of the Catholic University Symphony Orchestra while pursuing a B.M. in Musical Theatre at Catholic University. During this time, he continued in private Piano lessons and enjoyed self-accompanying on many musical theatre pieces. After graduating, Jeremy served as a resident artist for English Musicals Korea where he composed music for 4 different musicals using LogicPro music software. While composing, Jeremy relied heavily on his piano training to create, record, and insert parts for the whole digital ensemble.

When it comes to lessons, Jeremy strives to create a fun atmosphere while helping students learn new pieces, refine technique, and develop a strong understanding of music theory. He believes that the study of any instrument helps students in many other aspects of life. Through his own study, Jeremy has noticed that learning music assists him with certain math concepts, makes him a better writer, and shapes him into a better learner of new skills.

Outside of teaching, Jeremy works as an actor in the DMV and Baltimore, and can often be seen performing with theatres across the DMV!
