About Huiwon Kim

Huiwon Kim is an accomplished pianist, vocalist, and dedicated music teacher based in Frisco. Originally from Seoul, Korea, Huiwon began playing the piano at the age of five and instantly fell in love with its sound. From that moment on, music has been a constant and inspiring part of her life.

Throughout her musical journey, Huiwon has gained extensive experience performing as a soloist, in duos, and with orchestras and chamber groups. She continues to share her musical gifts as a piano accompanist and vocalist at her church every Sunday. In addition to her performance work, Huiwon also trains and directs members of her church choir, helping them develop strong vocal technique, blend, and musical expression.

With over 30 years of experience teaching music to students of all ages, Huiwon provides personalized lessons that keep students motivated and engaged. She focuses on both technical skill and musical understanding, tailoring her instruction to meet each student’s individual goals. Her expertise extends beyond piano to include voice instruction, where she brings the same thoughtful and encouraging approach that has helped countless students find confidence in their musical abilities.
