Hanaa Hegazy is a seasoned music educator with 18 years of comprehensive experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels. She is known for the comfortable and supportive environment she fosters for her students and their parents. Throughout her career, Hanaa has taught hundreds of students who adore her for her unparalleled patience and kindness.
Her passion for teaching and love for music began at Cairo University, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education, specializing in Piano. Upon graduating, Hanaa pursued numerous international music teaching opportunities. She served as a music teacher at the prestigious International School of Choueifat in Abu Dhabi in 2008 before providing extracurricular music instruction in Northern Virginia elementary schools after moving to the United States in 2010.
Hanaa has maintained a robust teaching career in NoVA in a variety of settings and she specializes in private instruction. Through her work, she places a lot of importance and care in preparing students for annual recitals, where they showcase their musical talents to friends and family. In weekly lessons, she follows a traditional and classical methodology for students and the Alfred series is a favorite she often incorporates. Hanaa enjoys every phase of the teaching journey for her students and is always excited to start with those who are new, or transitioning teachers. Her greatest joy is seeing students excel beyond what they thought possible.
Aside from her music career, Hanaa is a mother of three and enjoys swimming and spending time with her family.
