George is a multi-instrumental musician who teaches and plays a variety of different instruments and musical styles. He studied classical music performance for Violin and Viola at Metropolitan State University and received an AA in music performance in 2016. He served as principal violist for the Broomfield Symphony from 2017-2019 and has performed with Celtic, Bluegrass, Jazz, and World music groups for over 15 years.
George performs with his bluegrass band Tonewood Stringband regularly as well as performing and recording music with many other artists. George also works as an audio and acoustical designer and installer for everything from home theaters to bars, concert venues, restaurants, and more.
George plays and teaches violin, viola, cello, guitar (acoustic and electric), bass guitar, ukulele, piano, & percussion. He has taught private music lessons since 2022 and loves working with students of all ages. George’s philosophy is that there are no mistakes in music, and that music and learning should be fun. He deeply enjoys sharing his love of music and is passionate about seeing every student grow and succeed as a musician and person.
