    About Gabriella Galletti

Soprano and voice teacher Gabriella Galletti has gained a reputation in opera and classical works, embracing composers such as Puccini, Verdi, Mozart, and Fauré. She most recently performed her operatic debut as Page in Kentucky Opera’s production of “Rigoletto,” and was also a member of the chorus in Kentucky Opera’s “Die Zauberflöte” and “Enemies A Love Story.” Born in Orlando, Florida, Gabriella received her Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Memphis, and her Master of Music degree was obtained at the University of Louisville, where she taught voice lessons as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. During her time as a student, she performed with notable musicians such as world renowned singer and actress, Kristen Chenoweth, the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, and Kentucky Opera.

Gabriella has had the privilege of working with prominent award-winning composers including American opera and art song composers Jake Heggie and Ben Moore, as well as French film score and opera composer Maurice Jarre. In 2017, she toured Germany and Austria as a soloist and ensemble member of The University of Memphis’ University Singers. Gabriella currently works as a Teaching Artist with Kentucky Opera, where she is the host of a virtual program entitled “Time with Opera”.

Gabriella believes that singing is a very personal art-form—the process of learning includes being vulnerable and accessing parts of the voice that a student may not be familiar with. Once students are able to master basic technique and efficient practice, they are then able create their own unique art.
