About Floria Kim

Floria Kim was born in Seoul, South Korea. Her love for music began early when she started on the piano at the age of 5 and then went on to start on the flute in middle school. Floria holds a Bachelors Degree in Music Education at Georgia State University. She is currently pursuing her Master's in orchestral flute performance in hopes to one day teach public school along with her own private students. Floria has a wide array of orchestral experience, primarily playing as a soloist, where she has won a handful of concerto competitions including the Promiseone Competition & Brumby Concerto in 2019. Floria is incredibly passionate about teaching and she aims to instill a love and excitement for music in her students each lesson.
