    About Eric Bolanos

Eric is multi-talented performer and teacher of piano, guitar, violin, and bass guitar. A Dallas native, he got his start in music on the piano at age 8, then picked up every instrument he could since then. He took up violin in middle school, guitar and drums in high school, bass guitar in college, and is now working on adding the ukulele and accordion to his skill set.

Eric performed his HS senior song on piano at graduation in front of several hundred students & parents, and has since found joy in bringing music to his local community. He taught mostly children during high school, but found his greatest challenge in college teaching students his own age! He instills the value of independent practice in all of his students, both young and not so young. He caters to student demands when building lesson plans so that they not only learn their preferred genre/style of music, but also classic pieces for their repertoire.

Currently, Eric is either playing the violin in his local orchestra (Dallas Unity String Orchestra), singing in multiple languages (Spanish, Latin, German, Russian) with his church choir, or jamming out with fellow musicians on any of the above instruments. Outside of music, Eric can be found operating forklifts, riding motorcycles, or flying helicopters!
