About Elisa Barton

When Elisa grew up in Austin Texas she started playing piano at the young age of 5. She played piano throughout high school while her Mom taught piano lessons in their home.

Years later when she went to University of Rochester, she took piano lessons at the highly acclaimed Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. In college Elisa found she couldn't go a day without playing the piano. Sight reading and discovering new music was her true passion, and she developed a taste for classical music outside of lessons. Practicing everyday payed off when she got accepted to Southern Methodist University's Division of Music for Piano Education!

Elisa loves helping people discover their passion for music, whatever style it may be. She' loves the journey of music discovery, and is excited to share music her students!
