Teacher Profile: Elijah Head

About Elijah Head

Elijah Head is a saxophonist and bassoonist from Everett, WA. He picked up the saxophone in middle school and the bassoon a couple years later upon entering high school. There , Elijah was nominated to perform in his district honor band 3 times and his region honor band once playing baritone saxophone. He also marched in his high school band all 4 years.

After high school, Elijah went to Alabama A&M University in Huntsville, AL, where he majored in music. He obtained his bachelors degree in 2021 under the direction of Mr. Carlton Wright and Mr. Michael Rice. There, Elijah was known for playing jazz and R&B music.

Outside of music, Elijah likes watching sports, traveling, and helping out in the community. One of his favorite sayings are “My mission is to bring a positive light into others everyday by motivating and share my experiences, good and bad. My goal is to fill the world up with positive enforcement and motivate to be better every day.”
