About Eliezer Dobrin

Eliezer Dobrin has been teaching privately since 2007, with expertise in violin, viola, and ukulele. They have received their Bachelor of Arts in Music from The University in North Texas in 2013 and their Master of Music in Orchestra Conducting from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2016. They are also the director of the Lone Star Youth Orchestra. Their beliefs in teaching deeply stem from the idea that you can't just teach a student, you also have to help them want to learn. With a heavy emphasis in learning patience and enjoyment from any given instrument and celebrating even minor victories, Eliezer has seen great success with students of all types. When not teaching or conducting, Eliezer enjoys spending time with their wife and five year old son, playing vintage video games and watching movies.
