Teacher Profile: Doug Breland

About Doug Breland

He grew up in Tucker and Lilburn, GA, graduating from Parkview HS

where he served as the accompanist for all choral activities and jazz band

and winning various state competitions. He played piano from the time he

was 5 years old, and had his true awakening in high school studying with

Alice Oglesby of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Upon graduation he

pursued the only thing he knew -- Music. It is music where his passion

lies, and extending that knowledge and experience to others makes him

happy.
