About Donny Codden

Donny is a professional vocal coach and pianist. He began his journey with music when he joined the St. John’s Boys Choir at the age of 8 and toured the globe with them for 6 years. Continuing private training throughout high school he went on get his Bachelor of Music from the Catholic University of America in Musical Theatre performance. While there he also worked professionally in Minnesota (his home state) and in Washington DC. He starred in the musicals, “The Last Five Years,” “Into the Woods” and was in the world premiere of the musical “Witches of Eastwick” at Signature Theatre in Virginia. After he received his Bachelor’s, he went on to pursue his Masters degree at NYU in musical theatre writing. While there he had his musicals “Providence” and “Everyone’s Waiting” show at multiple festivals and theatres in the United States.
