About Catherine Eaton

Catherine has been playing piano since 1990. She started teaching in 1998 and attended the Lamont school of music at the University of Denver from 2002-2005 and Colorado State University from 2006-2007. She graduated from CSU in 2007 with a B.A. in music. She studied piano performance, piano pedagogy, and music therapy.

Catherine loves sharing the beauty and joy of music with her students. She enjoys fostering student's self-confidence, creativity, and self expression through performance, music theory, improvisation, ear training, and physical technique at the piano. Catherine believes that students succeed best in an encouraging, positive environment and she does everything she can to make lessons fun and rewarding.
