About Cassandra Brod

Cassandra graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a B.A. in Music (Classical Vocal Performance/Opera) and has over 17 years of experience as a vocalist and 20 years as a pianist. While in school, she became friends with a professor who studied at Juilliard School and helped hone her craft in piano.

She has performed an array of genres in both piano and voice, ranging from classical to theatre to contemporary repertoire, having performed in various locations ranging from Philadelphia, PA to Vienna, Austria. She speaks German, as well!

Cassandra is a firm believer that music helps us become better people. When words fail, music speaks, and the more we know about ourselves, the easier it is to understand each other. She has taught for several music academies as well as privately for the past 12 years. Throughout that time, she has helped over 300 students, ages ranging from 4-65, along their musical journey. She prepared many of them for various shows and auditions. When Cassandra is not teaching music, she is teaching as a certified flight instructor, helping aspiring pilots make their dream a reality.

For Cassandra, it is important to create an enriching and fun environment for each of her students. She prioritizes incorporating the fundamentals and proper technique within each lesson, while also making learning fun through engaging pieces and concepts. She cannot wait to meet you!
