Antonio is a native Washingtonian and his love of music began with singing in school programs and churches such as Union Temple Baptist Church and the Washington Youth choir. Before attending college he studied and sang internationally abroad in Medellin, Columbia and Paris, France. Later Antonio, studied Voice at Central state University and received his Bachelor’s degree under Dr. Katherine Allen and Jeremy Winston. After graduating, Antonio started a family and moved to Chicago before settling back here in Washington, DC.
Professionally, Antonio sang for the Inauguration in 2017, the Tye grand opening of the African American museum and a program called Christmas in Washington, Prague’s week of Arts. Antonio has worked with the Prague Chez Republic Symphony Orchestra as well as the Jeremy Winston Chorale. Currently, Antonio is an active local music educator, teaching aspiring Piano and Voice students, from different age levels and backgrounds. As an instructor, Antonio believes fully in developing an appreciation for the arts through music study with his students.
Antonio's mission in music education is to provide the tools for every student and let them fully explore the beauty and possibilities music has to offer. Outside of music Antonio enjoys art, traveling, cooking, and being a dad which can be an endless list of fun hobbies!
