    About Anna Lansdon

From a very young age, Anna Lansdon has dedicated herself to the arts, from singing and dancing to guitar and cello, as well as the visual arts. As a child, she sat with her grandma at the piano for countless hours and learned the principles of music. She went on to play cello in her school orchestra and local chamber groups as well as sing in countless choirs including Continental League and All State in Colorado.

Musical Theatre came to be her greatest passion and led her to take over a decade of vocal lessons and perform in over 30 productions. She studied Acting at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she also took music theory and composition classes, and played cello in the pit for a production of Spring Awakening.

After college, she taught herself guitar and went on to play solo gigs, accompanying herself in both covers and original songs in front of audiences in Brooklyn and Manhattan. In recent years, she’s performed with local choir the Aurora Singers and in a Children’s production of Dragons Love Tacos at the PACE Center, as well as taught a kids’ theatre camp also at the PACE Center.

Today, she continues to fill her days with art and music, spending a great deal of time drawing and painting as well as creating permanent adornments for her tattoo clients and performing small gigs with her voice and guitar. Anna is thrilled to have the opportunity to share her musical experience and knowledge with her students and hopes to inspire a passion for creative expression and performing similar to her own.
