About Andrew Cafiero

Andrew Cafiero is a Richardson native and guitar teacher with an associate degree in music, with a focus on performance. His passion for making and teaching music stems from his grandfather, who taught him how to play. He has been playing guitar and bass since 2018. While at Northern Oklahoma College, Andrew studied classical guitar and was in the jazz band, where he performed in multiple recitals and concerts—the most interesting being the Rock of Ages musical, a three-day showing with a 40-song set. Andrew is very passionate about solo guitar virtuosos such as Jason Becker and Yngwie Malmsteen, two pioneers who show just how much emotion you can get out of a six-string. This is what inspires him to help every young musician find their passion and cultivate it into something that keeps them connected to what they love about music.
