Alex Khoury is a versatile multi-instrumentalist and educator based in Denver, Colorado. With a diverse musical background spanning jazz, folk, blues, and metal, Alex brings a rich, multi-genre perspective to his teaching. Though his journey began with the trumpet and electric guitar, he has spent the last several years specializing in classical guitar.
Alex is currently completing his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Denver’s Lamont School of Music, studying under the esteemed Jonathan Leathwood and Laura Husbands. As he prepares for graduate studies in Classical Guitar Performance and Ethnomusicology, Alex continues to expand his horizons by self-studying the oud. He views music as a universal language and is dedicated to helping students find their own "voice" through technical mastery and creative expression. With years of experience teaching guitar (electric and classical), piano, bass, ukulele, and trumpet, Alex strives to foster a lifelong passion for music in every student.
