About Alcira Rodríguez

Alcira is a professional musician and music therapist from Columbia. With an emphasis in Sound Engineering, Alcira has always had a passion for a well-rounded approach to the performance of music. As a professional teacher, Alcira believes that the most important aspect of teaching is connecting with the student and developing a positive connection between the student and the music.

Alcira has been teaching piano, guitar, ukulele, and voice professionally for over 16 years. Her experience ranges from 1-on-1 lessons to Choral Directorship in different groups around the world. Alcira also has experience teaching students music in both Spanish and English. Alcira always creates a positive connection with each student and develops wonderful lesson structures that help a student thrive, regardless of how much the student progresses or practices!
