About Alana Vargas

Alana Vargas began studying piano at the age of 6 years-old under the training of Gaylyn Capitano and focused on singing, songwriting and guitar around the age of 14 years-old. She teaches voice and piano.

Alana participated in recitals since she began playing the piano and has also competed in many competitions and music festivals where she would score a superior rating. She had the chance to study further at Pensacola Christian College during their summer program in 2021 and got to perform there as well.

She has taught piano for several years and has worked with children growing up through church, dance, and music programs.

Alana believes music education should be fun and well-rounded. It should include several genres, styles, music theory, and ear training. She uses games and hands on activities to keep kids engaged! Making lessons enjoyable will result in students learning much more!
