How are my summer lessons pro-rated?

Lessons during the summer are still billed at a flat-rate monthly tuition; however, during this time we offer the option to prorate tuition based on the number of lessons you take or have scheduled in a given month.

Your teacher will work with you in advance to create a clear picture of your summer schedule and adjust lessons based on your availability.

Because tuition is billed and paid in advance, any prorated adjustments will appear as credits on your next invoice. Our teachers record prorated summer lessons “as the weeks pass,” which is the most common reason your invoice may not immediately reflect a prorated amount. Once the teacher records a prorated lesson, your account will be updated accordingly.

The value of a prorated lesson is always one-quarter of the flat-rate monthly tuition. Therefore, in months with five possible lesson days, no prorated credit will be applied if at least four scheduled lessons are still provided.
