Zanna Noe, M.Ed., is a certified EC–12 Music teacher with over 20 years of experience in education. A classically trained pianist, she began her musical journey at the age of six in her native Estonia. Her global teaching career has taken her across continents and U.S. states, enriching her approach with diverse cultural and pedagogical perspectives.
Zanna’s teaching adventures began in Estonia, where she served as both an ESL and music teacher. In the United States, she has led piano instruction and music-and-movement programs in Indiana, Florida, and Texas. Her roles have included teaching at Indiana University, serving as a preparatory school piano instructor in Boca Raton, FL, and educating hundreds of students in both public and private schools across North Texas.
In addition to classroom teaching, Zanna has contributed extensively to church music ministries, offering her talents in piano performance and vocal leadership.
She served as recital chair for the Chicago Area Music Teachers Association and was honored to participate in master classes with faculty from DePaul University’s School of Music.
Her performance repertoire includes cherished works by composers such as Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Beethoven, Bach, Chopin, Debussy, and Sibelius. Zanna teaches students of all levels—from young beginners to early advanced—and blends the best of American and European teaching methods to meet each student’s needs. In 2005, one of her advanced students won first place in a Chicago Area Music Teachers Association competition with a performance of Erik Satie’s Gymnopédies.
Zanna believes that music educators shape not only students’ musical abilities but also their lifelong love of learning. She prioritizes building strong relationships with families and nurturing a joyful, lasting connection to music.
She looks forward to welcoming new piano students and helping them discover the beauty and power of music.
