Praised for her natural musical instincts and captivating energies, Yuanju has been active in premiering new works, programming chamber concerts, recording original albums, and leading orchestras. In addition, Yuanju enjoys and is successful in music education, providing instructions in private lessons, chamber music and youth orchestras. She serves on the faculty of DC youth orchestra and is a teaching assistant at the University of Maryland.
Interested in performing music for all audiences, Yuanju’s performance highlights included chamber series at the University of Rochester Medical Centre, performing artist in the 2019 TEDxDePaul University, live radio concert in 2019 on Chicago’s classical radio “LIVE FROM WFMT”, solo performances at the 2021 Harvest Chicago Dance Festival.
Yuanju is a DMA candidate at the University of Maryland in the studio of David Salness and earned her Performance certificate and Master’s degree in Violin Performance with distinction from DePaul University under the tutelage of Janet Sung. She also has a Bachelor’s Degree from the Eastman School of Music, under the mentorships of Ayano Ninomiya and Robin Scott.
Besides music making and teaching, Yuanju loves to spend time with her two cats at home and enjoy riding bikes around DC.
