About Tracy Morgan
Violinist, Tracy Morgan began playing the violin at the age of 7 and performed with the Texas All-State orchestras throughout her high school career. She went on to study with Dr. Kirsten Yon at the University of Houston and graduated summa cum laude in 2016. Tracy recently finished her master's degree in performance at Florida State University studying with Corinne Stillwell. She held a graduate assistantship with FSU and served as Principal Second Violin with the University Symphony Orchestra. Tracy also played with many of the regional Florida orchestras, including the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra, Northwest Florida State Symphony Orchestra, Pensacola Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonia Gulf Coast, and Albany Symphony Orchestra. Along with performing, Tracy continued to teach students on both violin and piano between the beginner and college levels. She has recently moved back to the Houston area and is excited to set some roots. In addition, she is an enthusiastic chamber music performer and teaches violin and piano students of all ages and abilities.
