About Stacey Ali
Ms Ali is a dynamic educator, musician, and singer-songwriter with a diverse career spanning the realms of music, theater, and education. Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, Ms. Ali developed a deep love for the arts early on, excelling as a varsity cheerleader, concert choir soloist, and a trumpet and French Horn player at Jones High School. Their commitment to music and performance continued to flourish at Florida A&M University, where they were an active member of the Concert Choir, Vocal Jazz Ensemble, Marching 100, and Jazz Band, further cementing their multifaceted talent in both performance and composition.
Currently an educator and Assistant Minister of Music at Mount Pleasant missionary Baptist Church, Ms. Ali has taught K-12 students across a variety of disciplines including trumpet, French Horn, voice, theater, musical theater, master classes for band and voice and music theory. With a passion for nurturing young talent, Ms. Ali specializes in helping students turn their dreams into reality through hands-on instruction and mentorship.
Beyond the classroom, Ms. Ali is an accomplished singer-songwriter who has written for movies and TV shows. Ms. Ali has performed with orchestras, Choirs and bands nationwide, and they’ve had the privilege of sharing the stage with award-winning artists across genres, from gospel to R&B. A seasoned performer, Ms. Ali has sung on international stages in South Africa, Canada, and the Bahamas, and has performed before esteemed audiences including Congress, mayors, and commissioners.
A proud graduate of Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, Ms. Ali concentrated in Visual and Performing Arts and Education, with a minor in Music. Their educational philosophy is rooted in the belief that "you cannot teach what you do not know, and you cannot lead where you do not go." Ms. Ali is dedicated to leading students toward excellence, helping them reach new heights both inside and outside the classroom.
