    About Shane Thrasher

From an early age, Shane was captivated by guitars, constantly sketching them. His older brother’s love for Motley Crüe and KISS introduced him to Mick Mars and Ace Frehley, sparking a passion that wouldn’t fade. Although his parents couldn’t afford to buy him a guitar, Shane saved money bussing tables and eventually purchased his first instrument—a humble Harmony acoustic from a lifestyle magazine. It wasn’t perfect, but it marked the beginning of a lifelong journey.

In high school, Shane formed a band with friends called Psychosis, playing covers of Bush, Weezer, and Pearl Jam. While far from polished, those jam sessions remain some of his fondest memories, teaching him the joy of collaboration and the magic of creating music together.

Shane’s influences evolved over time, from the alternative rock of the 90s to blues icons like Robert Johnson and Stevie Ray Vaughan, and later to jazz legends such as Wes Montgomery and Kenny Burrell. He even spent a year obsessed with the Allman Brothers, developing a deep appreciation for Dickey Betts’ style. Guitarists like Jimmy Page and David Gilmour also played a lasting role in shaping his musical perspective.

Now, Shane is ready to share his passion for music with others. Whether someone is just starting out or seeking to refine their skills, Shane’s mission is to help them discover their own style and influences. For him, music is a powerful form of authentic expression, and he’s dedicated to guiding others on their own musical journey.
