Patric Phillips has been dedicated to the violin since beginning his musical journey in the fifth grade. His talent and commitment quickly became evident, culminating in a distinguished performance of a Mozart concerto during his high school years, where he was honored at the senior concert. Patric continued his musical development by playing with the University of South Carolina Columbia’s symphony orchestra during his freshman year. His foundation in classical training remained a vital part of his creative identity even as his interests expanded into other artistic disciplines.
Following his time in the university symphony, Patric transitioned into theatre, where he found unique ways to merge his musical abilities with stage performance. He showcased his violin skills in the role of Eamon in Once the Musical and in an original theatrical production that featured Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. Recently, Patric has embraced a new path—teaching violin—as a means to inspire and enrich the lives of students through music. Though this venture is a newer chapter in his artistic career, he is deeply committed to fostering musical growth in others while continuing to pursue his passion for theatre.
