Natalie Thompson was born and raised in Colorado and is currently living in Denver. Natalie has been playing the piano since the age of six and has been studying voice since her Junior year in high school. She received herBachelor’s in Music Education at Metropolitan State University of Denver where she studied voice and learned many other instruments in her classes at MSU Denver.
Natalie is now looking to broaden her knowledge of music by teaching in the classroom, along with the private lessons she has been giving.
Her accomplishments include:
-Singing and accompanying her community church for almost five years.
-Completed her student teaching at Monarch High School and Black Forest Hills Elementary where she greatly enjoyed teaching the students.
-Awarded 1st Place in her division from National Association of Teachers of Society's competition in spring of 2014 and 2nd Place in her division in fall of 2014.
-Performed in GioachinoRossini’s Barber of Seville and Amadeus Mozart’s The Magic Flute.
