As a Piano instructor, Melina is dedicated to helping students become well-rounded musicians by teaching a wide variety of repertoire, technique, theory, and aural skills. She tailors each lesson to the student’s individual needs and goals, ensuring that learning is both structured and engaging. For younger students, Melina incorporates musical games and hands-on methods. For older students, she integrates relevant music history to deepen their understanding of the pieces they are learning.
Melina works with students of all ages, from young beginners to late-intermediate pianists, and her teaching philosophy focuses on guiding students to discover concepts independently, fostering both skill development and a love for music. She continues to develop her own skills through lessons, accompanying, and performing chamber music.
In addition to her musical background, Melina has over six years of experience teaching German to students of various ages. Her expertise in language instruction brings structured lesson planning, adaptability, and strong communication skills into her Piano teaching.
