Kylie is an educator and musician originally from the New England area, and she is so excited to join the Denver music community! Her primary instrument of 14 years is the viola, but she also loves to play the ukulele, piano, guitar, and violin as well.
Kylie is an elementary music teacher in the Denver Public Schools system working with Education Through Music Colorado, and enjoys conducting their student choir and instrumental ensembles. As a graduate from the University of New Hampshire, she was the recipient of several grants in order to conduct her own research on music education issues and is published in her undergraduate research journal.
You may have also heard Kylie perform in string quartets, orchestras, choirs, and various solo gigs. She is passionate about access to quality music education and is an advocate for all her students. Above all, Kylie believes that finding joy and a love for music is crucial in all stages of life and she wants to share that gift through her teaching.
