About Kareh Nixon
Kareh Nixon is a member of the Symphonicity Orchestra in Virginia Beach, VA. She has studied under the direction of The Hampton Roads Chamber Players and The Bay Youth Orchestra in Norfolk, VA. She currently performs several times a year at The Biltmore House in Asheville, NC and several other events in the Atlanta Metro area.
Kareh is currently in school for her Bachelors in Complimentary and Alternative Health specializing in music therapy at Ashford University. She specializes in Suzuki Method, Traditional techniques, Fiddling, Classical, Jazz, Contemporary Music, and more. Teaching for 10 years and playing for 16 years has really inspired her to cater to every age, and the student's personal goals and their particular culture as there are no limitations to her style.
She also has experience creating music programs for church ministries, learning centers, music academies and more. Her programs offer growth within child development skills as an individual as well as a group setting, helping the student to be more confident at a young age and continue to grow as well for adults, give challenges to the student, fun games for memorization of music and to enjoy the lessons, and most importantly how to share their gift with family and friends while going through performing etiquette training.
