About Jorge Soler
His journey in Music has been a rollercoaster, from schools, classrooms, instruments, teachers, today-famous-ex-classmates, prestigious singers, theaters and countries.
Coming from a family of musicians, Jorge, before attending Music classes, was surrounded, of course, by musicians.
Born in Cuba, at the age of 28, he came to U.S.A.
He studied Music in Havana, Cuba, from the age of 9 to 19 years old. Attended to three music institutions: "Alejandro Garcia Caturla Conservatory", "Amadeo Roldan Conservatory" and "National School of Arts". His curriculum is extensive:

He played in Cuba with:

"Orquesta Cubana de Musica Moderna" (Standard International Music).
Orquesta E.G.R.E.M. (National Recording Studios).
Jorge's career in the U.S.A. has been a skyrocket. He played and toured the World with very famous singers in the latin market, such as: Jose Luis Rodriguez "El Puma", Jose Jose, Willy Chirino, Lola Flores, Celia Cruz, Rocio Jurado, Rocio Durcal, Raphael, Mocedades and Roberto Carlos, among others.
Jorge was part of the band that played in the Omni Hotel (Miami) for the Bob Hope's 84th Birthday, also, in a Nancy Reagan's Birthday in the White House.
He has produced ID's jingles for Super Q Radio Station, FM 92 Radio Station,
Radio Alegre 1210 Radio Station and with Celia Cruz commercials for the Cannel 23 Univision. He was the conductor for Raphael in New Year's Eve 1988 in Tropigala, Miami Fl.
Jorge is an active musician, playing with his own trio ("Jorge Yoyi Soler") playing a very nice repertoire: Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Michael Buble, Bossa Novas, Boleros and international standards songs.
As a teacher he has been a professor of:
Solfege/Theory in "Escuela de Musica de Superacion Profesional" (Havana, Cuba).
Solfege/Theory and Drums Technic in "Banda de Musica de el Estado Mayor General" (Havana, Cuba).
Basic Guitar in "Resurrection Drums" (Bird Rd. Miami Fl).
Bass Guitar, Piano and Solfege/Theory in "Iglesia Bautista Calvario" (Miami Fl.)
Piano and Solfege/Theory in "Iglesia Cristiana de Westchester" (Miami Fl.).
Mr. Soler enjoys teaching students of all ages. He knows that with the solid structure of LIYH and his vast experience as a player he will pass his "on-the field-knowledge" to his students.
He wants to see his "rollercoaster journey" repeated in each of his students.
