About Jon Shockness

Jon Shockness aka KID ASTRONAUT is a R&B, Hip Hop, Punk musician born and raised in Denver, CO.

His early education included classical and performance training as a student at Denver School of The Arts before starting his own band AIR DUBAI in 2008. Air Dubai went on to perform on Vans Warped Tour, Journey's Tour and was featured on MTV and VH1.

In 2015 - Jon started working on his solo project Kid Astronaut and has since played TedX, Warped Tour and various stages around the US and UK.

As a music educator - Jon believes in connecting to the artist within each student, empowering them to believe in and challenge themselves to grow and find their authentic sound and voice as an artist and musician.

Jon is available to teach guitar, piano and performance/vocal music.
