Joe is a well-seasoned musician with over 20 years of professional experience playing in many different styles, techniques, and genres. He began playing guitar in elementary school. By middle school, he was performing with local bands on multiple instruments. In high school, he began performing with his school’s jazz band, orchestra, guitar ensemble, and show choir. He continued performing professionally and studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
Throughout his career as a professional musician, Joe has played in dozens of musical projects that range from rock bands to country outfits to accompanying a hip-hop artist. He has been teaching private lessons since the age of 16 and is passionate about helping others on their musical journey. He believes in the importance of connecting to music both emotionally and intellectually. Music should be as fun as it is moving! He strives to inspire and bring out the strengths of his students on guitar, ukulele, bass, piano, mandolin, and banjo.
