About Jennifer Clayton

Jennifer Clayton developed a passion for music early in her life as the daughter of two music enthusiasts. She fed this passion by beginning to play piano at the age of 8. Across her childhood she also embarked on chorus as a musical journey and played in the high school jazz band.

As an adult, Jennifer has studied under the rigorous curriculum of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, a UK-based examination board in which she is certified Level 5 in Performance, Theory, and Practical Musicianship. She also studies voice and composition to continuously improve her capabilities to play, teach, and perform.

Jennifer is passionate about spreading on her knowledge, and a love of music, to anyone who wants to learn. She enjoys many different styles of music, but focuses her learning on classical solo pieces, and her instruction on the fusion of classical music with songs that her students know and love. Her primary methods of instruction include music appreciation, theory, ear training, and performance technique. In her spare time, she follows her passions for piano, healthy foods, and raising her two boys.
