About HaeJin Kim

Hae-jin Kim is a classical pianist and educator originally from South Korea. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in piano performance from Busan National University and Master of Arts in music focused on piano from Ke-myoung University under Dr. Chung-haeng Lee and another Master of Music in piano performance from University of Louisville, KY under Dr. Vernon Cherrix and Dr. Maurice Hinson while she studied abroad in America.

Her life-long passion is to teach kids for performing piano. In the time of University of Louisville, she worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. She taught college students how to play piano in an advanced level. While she was doing that, she taught young kids as beginner and intermediate level. She was never tired of teaching the kids for performing piano.

But her teaching experience goes back to Korea where she taught a lot of students like high school students, college students and even young kids. Since she went to college for piano performance, she started teaching piano to kids and even high schoolers. Hae-jin always felt happy for teaching them, because piano is a constant and perpetual joy to her and she always wants to play it, not to mention teaching about it.
